Each year Anstiss & Co., P.C. staff members attend the AICPA National Not-for-Profit conference held in Washington, D.C. to stay abreast on current trends and changing regulations. As has been the case in recent years, Anstiss was represented by the largest group of staff members of any Massachusetts firm.
Ray Anstiss, Jr., Jayne Andrews and Brendan Toolin attended the three-day AICPA National Not-for-Profit Industry Conference of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) in the summer of 2010.
This intensive three-day conference is led by the top minds in the industry, thought leaders, educators and prominent practitioners and is regarded as the premier technical training event in the field. The AICPA has sponsored the event for the last 18 years.
The knowledge gained now allows the firm to advise its clients on the latest developments regarding the impact of Federal Stimulus Funds, Endowments, Single Audit, Form 990,403(b) Plan Audits, and other issues current to the industry.
“We place tremendous value in fostering the ongoing professional development of our staff members,” said firm partner Dick Dionne. “By attending events like the AICPA Not-for-Profit conference, we are able to keep our firm, as well as our clients, at the forefront of information regarding the newest changes and updates in the industry.”
