Richard Dionne is dedicated to his company, family, community, clients and his work. He has been instrumental in helping Anstiss & Co. maintain the quality of service and excellence in reputation that has fueled the company’s growth. Today, Anstiss & Co. is ranked as a top 50 accounting firm in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is still growing. This is due in large part to the inspiration and leadership provided by Dick.
Mr. Dionne earned his Bachelor of Science Degree at Fitchburg State College and a Master of Science in Taxation at Bentley College. He has over 30 years of public accounting experience, and for the last 20 years he has been a Partner at Anstiss & Co.
Dick thoroughly enjoys the stimulation and constant challenge of working in such a demanding business as public accounting. He attributes his success to his ability to stay ahead of the curve, constantly reviewing new laws and regulations as well as reading about trends in the overall economic and business environment. This dedication to a “lifetime of learning” allows Dick to maintain his proficiency in all practice areas that affect his clients. He is constantly looking to take a proactive approach to client service. His experience and interest in his clients’ problems has allowed him to become a valuable asset to all his clients.
Richard Dionne is a member of the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants), and the MSPCA (Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants), and is also a Director of the Greater Lowell YMCA. Dick manages and monitors the quality control of the firm’s audit practice and ensures that the company’s engagements meet the highest technical audit standards and requirements. He has extensive experience in working with closely held businesses and their owners in a wide range of industries as well as providing high level tax planning services to companies, shareholders, high net worth individuals and other taxable entities.
At home, Dick maintains a “life balance” by attending his childrens sporting events (presently mostly on the Rugby pitch) and assisting his wife in the raising of the children.
