For Jason Khalil, every day is a learning experience. With over 11 years of public accounting experience, managing audits, consulting engagements, and providing independent quality reviews to ensure adherence to professional standards, Jason still encounters situations that are new, interesting and challenging.
Auditing became Jason’s area of focus because it gets him intimately involved with his clients and their businesses. Auditing brings him directly into his clients’ offices, where he loves working with people and interacting face to face. He enjoys the diversity of perspectives and the people he gets to work with, and there is nothing better than the gratitude he gets in auditing, because people know you are doing something for them that they can’t do for themselves.
Jason is a graduate of the University of Lowell, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountant (MSCPA), and he is constantly attending training seminars and workshops to increase his level of already considerable expertise. He has and continues to provide various lectures and internal training on the current application of the Codification, revenue recognition, foreign currency transactions, and other advanced accounting and auditing topics.
Jason provides auditing and consulting services to closely held businesses in a wide variety of industries including high tech software, manufacturing, professional services, distribution, construction, not-for-profit, and restaurants and their employee benefit plans. The wide range of businesses he works in gives him a variety of view points that tend to make him a better auditor.
As a father of three very active boys, Jason also has his work cut out for him at home. He very much enjoys sharing his love of sports with the boys. Jason’s idea of relaxation is the time he spends chewing up the miles in an old pair of running shoes.
